Styled 3 Ways: Sidnie Lamp In Juniper
A celebration of vivid color, this season, we welcome the Sidnie Lamp in a fresh new finish – Juniper green. Inspired by the lively tones that houseplants bring to our dwellings, Juniper is in itself like a plant sans watering. Taking cues from vintage lighting, modern tile, paint swatches, and various textiles, our Product Team went through over 20 iterations to nail the perfect shade.
"We’ve been craving this type of mid-tone green for a while. But, it took some exploring to find a way to modernize it. It's a bold color that is still inviting and easy to layer into a variety of spaces."
Familiar yet fresh, Juniper is both modern and traditional, classic and of-the-moment. To celebrate our newly expanded collection, we asked three friends of Schoolhouse to show us how they styled Sidnie in their spaces.
Revered interior designer and author, Max Humphrey, tells us the reasons he loves his Sidnie Lamp, especially in its new, fun shade.
"Everything looks better in juniper green. Juniper jackets, juniper kitchen cabinets, juniper cars and trucks, and especially the new Sidnie Lamp in juniper. My house has a lot of sharp angles, stripes, and lines, so I dig how the Sidnie's rounded top adds some curve appeal."
Schoolhouse friend and design writer, Dominique Gebru, shares where she styled her Sidnie Lamp in Juniper.
“It can feel intimidating to use color in your home — especially when, like me, you love neutrals. I love the bright pop of green the Juniper Sidnie Lamp brings to our space. It’s a classic shape, so it feels like a safe choice that’s heavy on the fun. Plus, look how good it looks next to our home library!”
Gray Benko, a photographer and stylist, shares her top reasons why the Sidnie Lamp is her favorite lighting choice for her son's bedroom.
“There is so much to love about the Juniper Sidnie Lamp! For starters, the color is absolute perfection. I designed my son’s bedroom to be reminiscent of my dad’s bedroom growing up, so I also love the little mid-century pop that the lamp adds to the room. The cherry on top is that this lamp is INCREDIBLY solid. You can tell that it is very well made and will last forever.”
