Styled 5 Ways: Schoolhouse x Hygge & West Wallpaper

Beautiful, transformative, and now easier than ever to install, there's a reason why wallpaper has been making such a strong comeback. Here at Schoolhouse, we’ve had many a chance to witness the showstopping impact wallpaper can make, thanks to our recent pattern collaboration with Hygge & West.

From lively florals to calm abstracts, our five patterns celebrate the beauty of The Pacific Northwest and our everyday encounters with nature. If you've been waiting for some wallpaper inspiration to take a creative leap of your own, we've got you covered. Below, we asked five friends of Schoolhouse to share + show their pattern picks and how they styled it in their homes.

“I chose to dress up a quiet corner of our kitchen in the Alpine Garden wallpaper to immediately transform the blank slate to a whimsical, yet timeless floral vibe. I picked the color white for the wallpaper to complement the neutral tones throughout my home, and the deeper blue flowers offered the perfect pop!”

“For me, pattern mixing is an opportunity to elevate a room with layers and interest. For the bathroom, I was wanting to go for something playful yet classic with a pop. I chose this particular print, Cascade Meadow in Juniper, for its bold, bright color palette that melded that floral vintage charm in a modern colorway. The print is sweet in a sophisticated way and brings so much charm into the space!”

"I chose Alpine Garden in Ebony because the pattern and colorway resonated with my spirit and love for gardens and elements of nature. I was smitten with the delicate floral pattern that feels so peaceful and cheerful. The black background and gold highlights are beautiful, moody, and have such good energy!"

“This bathroom used to be such a bore; the Woven - Juniper wallpaper really helped pull it together. The colors drew me in, and I appreciate how the pattern is simple and sophisticated at the same time.”

"My friend has a darling yellow vintage style sofa, and she wanted something that would make it POP in their new house. When we saw the whimsical Cascade Meadow floral print from Schoolhouse + Hygge & West, we knew it was the perfect touch. Instant character with one weekend's worth of work!"
